Mount Carmel – Rosemarie A. (Petrovich) Sullivan, 83, of 302 N. Turnpike St., passed away on July 3, 2023, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

She was born in Shamokin on October 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Charles and Antoinette (Kratovich) Petrovich.

Rosemarie was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Rosemarie is survived by a daughter, Annette Marie Arellano and husband, Adan of Mt. Carmel; two granddaughters, Nicole Marie Kiley and Amanda Marie Arellano; a brother, Martin Petrovich and wife, Judy of AZ; two sisters-in-law, Delores Petrovich of NY and Joyce Petrovich of CA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Phillip Petrovich (infant), Eugene Petrovich, and Bernard Petrovich.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Wamayose, A.J. officiating in Divine Redeemer Church, Mt. Carmel. Burial will follow in Our Mother of Consolation Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. There will be no visitation.
