Wilburton – Ruthann C. (Tinari) Onusconage, 75, of 1185 Legion Street, passed away on June 6, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a long battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born on August 22, 1948, in Ashland State Hospital, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Wood) Tinari.

Ruthann was a graduate of Ashland Area Joint High School. She was the site manager for the Wilburton Senior Action Center.

On August 30, 1969, she married the late John W. Onusconage in St. Joseph's Church, Girardville. Together they shared over 50 years of marriage, until John's passing in 2023.

Ruthann is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Edward) O'Hearn and their daughter, Kirsten; Erica (Tim) Becker and their daughters, Hazel and Mazzy, and Wendy Onusconage and her children, Tyler Ober, Kelsey Ober, and Avery Beaver; as well as various nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruthann was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John; and a sister, Joanne.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
