Mt. Carmel – Samuel "Samo" Weikel, 60, of 309 W. 5th St., passed away on November 14, 2025, at his residence.

He was born in Ashland on April 5, 1965, the son of the late Albert Weikel Sr. and Joanne (Dubb) Weikel.

Samuel attended North Schuylkill School District. He worked as a forklift operator for Paper Magic in Elysburg and later as a machine operator for Danville Cabinet Industries. Samuel was a former resident of Ashland and Centralia.

He married Donna Weikel in Mount Carmel, who preceded him in death in 2000.

Samuel is survived by a brother, Albert Weikel Jr. of Mt. Carmel, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
