Coal Township - Susan Bea Bentley, 67, of 1739 West Pine Street, passed away on August 15, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Sunbury on March 21, 1950, she was the daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Musser) Bickle InKrote. Susan graduated from Danville High School. She worked for Women in Transition as a shelter manager and counselor for battered women. Susan also worked for as a drug and alcohol counselor for White Deer.

Susan loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she also enjoyed gardening, flea marketing, and attending auctions.

In addition to her husband Ronald Cresswell of Shamokin, Susan is survived by two daughters, Amanda Bentley of Shamokin and Holly Bishop and her husband Allen of Shamokin; four grandsons, Tyler Jeffrey, Michael, Ryan, and Bryson Bishop; a sister Roxanna InKrote of Sunbury; a brother Max InKrote of Lewisburg; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Susan will be missed by her many friends as well her family. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont with Reverend Joan Brown, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 in the funeral home.
