Kulpmont - Sylvia A. Boslego, 71, of 191 Poplar Drive, passed away on November 2, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family at her side after a courageous two and half years battling with cancer.

Born in Ashland on July 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Regis J. and Helen A. (Ferrari) Brecker. She graduated from Mount Carmel High School and was employed as a Pharmacy Tech at Scotts Pharmacy in Coal Township.

On January 23, 1964, in Saint Joseph's Church in Locust Gap, she married the love her life, Michael Boslego, who survives. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage. She was a member of Holy Angels Church.

She enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, spending time with her family and her grandchildren, who were the love of her life.

In addition to her husband Michael, she is survived by two granddaughters, Taylor Getty of Philadelphia and Cameron Getty of Marion Heights; one brother, William Brecker and his wife Patricia of Kulpmont; one sister, RoseAnn Mall and her husband Dennis of Elysburg; a nephew, William Brecker Jr. and his wife Stacey of Mount Carmel; three nieces, Lisa (Ward) Elverson and her husband Al, of Collegeville, Kelly (Mall) Eshleman and her husband Mike of East Followfield, and Charissa (Mall) Defrancesco and her husband Carmen of Gilbersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leanne (Boslego) Getty.

Sylvia A. Boslego, 71, of 191 Poplar Drive, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel with Father Karwacki, Officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at the convince of the family. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. with Vigil Prayers at 10:00 a.m. in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E.
