Mount Carmel - Tammy Mammis, 67, of 453 West 3rd Street, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at her residence.

Born on February 28, 1952 in Kos, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Zaxaro (Katras) Mammis.

Tammy came to the US in 1965 and attended school in Lancaster, PA. She was last employed at Yanni's in Mount Carmel.

She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church.  Tammy was very involved in her church and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her husband John Dimitratos of Mount Carmel; three sons, Jerry Dimitratos, Tommy and his wife, Catrina Dimitratos of NY, and Nick Dimitratos of Mount Carmel; five grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.

Tammy Mammis, 67, of 453 West 3rd Street, Mount Carmel - Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 131 N. Willow Street, Mount Carmel, with Reverend Ignatius Hunter, officiating. Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the church. Burial will be in the Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
