Mount Carmel – Terry Ann (Zsido) Swartz, 64 of 108 W. Ave., passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at Tremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Terry was born on January 28, 1960, in Shamokin State Hospital, the daughter of the late Gabriel Zsido Jr. and Jacqueline (Pasterski) Zsido.

Terry was a 1977 graduate of Mount Carmel Jr./Sr. High School. She attended Northumberland County Vo-Tech where she studied cosmetology. She was employed at the Mount Carmel Jr./Sr. High School as a teacher's aide for special needs students. She was forced to retire in 2020 due to her illness.

Terry enjoyed going to concerts, listening to classic rock music, going to Knoebel's, watching movies (especially horror films), crafting, going on mountain rides with her nephew, Keifer, with whom she had a special bond, and spending time with her family. She was an avid animal lover, especially cats.

She left behind a daughter, Alyssa Paul of Palmyra; two brothers, Larry Zsido of Kulpmont and Ron Zsido of Center Valley; a niece, Dana (Zsido); four nephews, Justin Zsido, Keifer Zsido, Alec Zsido, and Ezekiel Zsido; the best friend anyone could have, Jenny Berry; fantastic neighbors, Dave and Linda McFee; and last but not least, her cat, Lilly.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Wamayose, A.J. officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA, C J Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
