Mount Carmel – Thomas Tloczynski, 72, of 153 Wilburton Rd., passed away peacefully at his residence on September 29, 2026.
He was born on May 24, 1953, at Ashland State Hospital, to the late Thomas and Dolores (Wywadis) Tloczynski.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel and a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School, Class of 1971. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Medal (M-16 Rifle), and Expert Medal (Hand Grenade). Following his military service, Thomas worked as a building construction laborer with Reading Local 471 and Allentown Local 1174.
On June 20, 1987, he married the former Linda Petrusky at SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mount Carmel.
Thomas was a member of SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies baseball fan and was also a devoted animal lover.
Thomas is survived by his son, Ryan Tloczynski, and his fiancé, Brittney Feudale; three grandchildren, Gavin, Liam, and Dayna; a brother, Robert Tloczynski; a sister, Rosemarie Tloczynski; and his best friend, Rich Boczkowski. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Dolores (Wywadis) Tloczynski; and his wife, Linda Tloczynski.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Spotts at the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Visitation will be held on October 3, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mount Carmel Funeral Home. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
