Mount Carmel - Victor A. "Vista Vic" Mirarchi Jr., of 50 South Hickory Street, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Victor will be sadly missed.

Born in Ashland on August 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Victor and Catherine (Hoffman) Mirarchi. He graduated from Kulpmont High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956; including the Korean War.

On June 2, 1956, in the former Saint Mary's Church, he married his loving wife, Helen J. Watral, who survives. They Celebrated 62 years of marriage.

He was the proud owner of Vista Motors, Coal Township, for 40 years.  Victor's greatest joys came from spending time with his family and grandchildren, attending Mt. Carmel Tornado and Penn State football games, and anything that had to do with cars.

Victor is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Helen J. (Watral) Mirarchi; three daughters, Linda Kernick and her husband Richard of Pittsburgh, Jeanine Zlockie and her husband Daniel of Mt. Top, and Christine Galitski and her partner Harry Parfitt of Mt. Carmel with whom Victor and Helen resided; two sons, Joseph Mirarchi and his wife Bonnie of Coal Township and Victor A. Mirarchi III of Paxinos; twelve grandchildren; Tristan, Graeme, Connor, Ryan, Braden, Marley, Kennedy, Forrest, Brittany, Cole, Joey and Elise; three brothers, Frank and his wife Elaine, Anthony and his wife Eleanor and Michael and his wife Mary Fran; and two sisters Kathleen Kuzma and her companion Paul, and Linda Robel. Victor will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.  Victor was preceded in death by his parents; as well as two brothers, Ralph Mirarchi and Andrew Mirarchi.

Victor A. Mirarchi, Jr., 83, of 50 South Hickory Street, Mount Carmel - Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 am in Patronage of Mother of God Church, 155 Melrose Street, Marion Heights with Reverand Mykola Ivanov, officiating. Burial will be held in Patronage of Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with Ponahyda at 7:00 pm and Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 am with prayers at 10:15 am in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, Supervisor.
