Atlas - Vincent C. Rossi, 72, of 498 W. Saylor St., passed away on March 17, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Shamokin on March 21, 1953, to his late parents, Vincent E. and Carol (Wisneskie) Rossi.

Vincent was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Mount Carmel High School, Class of 1971, and worked as a tri-state truck driver for 34 years.

On July 22, 1972, he married Florence Horsfield at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel.

Vincent was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Mt. Carmel. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the MCA Tornadoes. He enjoyed trips to Ocean City, Maryland, with his beloved family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Florence Rossi of Atlas; two daughters, Carol (Albert) Rosetta and Susan Rossi; two brothers, Tom (Caroline) Rossi and Anthony (Pam) Rossi; five grandchildren, Michael Bonner, Stephanie Matukaitis and fiancé, Cooper Watkins, Marissa Matukaitis, Megan Rose Matukaitis and significant other, Jordan Vasdasz, and Jonathan Rosetta; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Matukaitis and Harper Watkins.
