Mount Carmel - Wayne Confair, 75, of 241 East Columbia Avenue, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Ashland on May 14, 1942, he was the son of Harry L. and Martha (Shutt) Confair. He was employed as a delivery driver for a beer and milk route.

A member of Saint Stephens Episcopal Church, he enjoyed going to the rec. center, the movies, and bowling. His favorite team was the Yankees as he was an avid fan.

He is survived by a brother, Lamar Confair and his wife Nancy of Wilburton; three sisters, Shirley Barilla and her husband Sam of Mount Carmel, Linda Rauch and her husband Fred of Winfield, Sandra Procopio and her husband Bill of Atlas; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Confair of Camp Hill; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald Shutt, Harry Confair and his wife Virginia, and Danny Confair; two sisters, Dolores Kuzma and her husband Walter, Geraldine Confair; and a step father, Vincent Povelaitis. Wayne will be missed by his many friends and family.
