Marion Heights – William "Billy" Bressi, 84, of 229 Warsaw St., passed away April 20, 2022 at Broad Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on December 5, 1937 in Marion Heights, the son of the late Samuel and Theresa (Chandash) Bressi-Feddock. Billy was a lifelong resident of Marion Heights.

Billy was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels and served as an usher on Sundays for Mass. He was a life member of the Marion Heights Fire Company, West End Fire Association Kulpmont, Kulpmont American Legion, Kulpmont Sportsman Association, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Mount Carmel. Billy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Billy is survived by two aunts, Margaret Niedzwiecki of Shamokin and Elizabeth Sikora of Kulpmont; a nephew, Frank S. Bressi II and wife, Carol of Milton; four nieces, Alicia M. Scicchitano and husband, Craig of Elysburg, Kimberly A. Vaughan and husband, Kevin of NJ, Barbara A. Sinopoli and husband, Michael of Kulpmont, and Patricia A. Olszewskie and husband, Bernard of Marion Heights; five great-nephews, James Britton and wife, Elda, Justin Bressi, Ryan Bressi, Jacob Vaughan, and Michael Sinopoli Jr.; five great-nieces, Alicia Belizaire and husband, Jean, Kristen Marcheski and husband, David, Sarah Vaughan, Kaylene Sinopoli, and Emily Olszewskie; seven great-great-nephews, Marcus Muldrow, David Marcheski, Sebastian Britton, Giovanni Britton, Leonardo Britton, Jordan Belizaire, and Jackson Bressi; three great-great-nieces, Alayna Marcheski, Willow Marcheski, and Thea Belizaire; three cousins, John Niedzwiecki, Kevin Niedzwiecki, and Diane Unger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; William loved spending time with his great friend and caregiver, Victoria Chapman of Mount Carmel. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a step-father, Paul Feddock; brother and sister-in-law, Frank S. Bressi and wife, Barbara A. Bressi; two uncles, John Niedzwiecki and Michael Sikora; and a cousin, Kenneth Sikora.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held in the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
