Aristes – William G. Hampton, 64, of 520 Timber St., passed away August 3, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born in Ashland on November 28, 1956, the son of Robert and Vivian (Lindenmuth) Hampton.

William was a 1974 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. He worked as a driller at Blaschak Coal Corp. for 35 years and also as a Lieutenant at Columbia County Prison from 1984 - 2014.

On September 29, 1979 in Shamokin, he married the former Kathryn Drumheiser, who survives.

William is survived by his wife, Kathryn Hampton of Aristes; a son, Robert Hampton and wife, Selene of Aristes; two daughters, Sarah Dillman and husband, Christopher of Ashland and Giselle Miller and husband, Adam of Danville; four grandsons, Treyton Miller, Rayden Miller, Carter Miller and Ramon Hampton; five granddaughters, Fatima Hampton, Lily Miller, Vivian Dillman, Aliza Dillman, and Sofia Hampton; three sisters, Donna Buhay and husband, John of Mt. Carmel, Susan Darrah and husband, Edward of Wilburton and Diane Armstrong of MD; three sisters-in-law, Lisa Fletcher and husband, Keith of Harrisburg, Leslie Drumheiser of Shamokin, and Jennifer Drumheiser of TX; a brother-in-law, Richard Drumheiser and wife, Denise of Shamokin; and a step-mother-in-law, Marilynn Drumheiser of FL. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hampton and wife, Barbara; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard Drumheiser and wife, Kathryn (Kelser).

William G. Hampton, 64, of 520 Timber St. Ashland – Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. on in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, with Pastor Bonnie Yeager officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
